Chris got this really nice rainbow trout during the Green Drake hatch today. The hatch started late but the Drakes and PMDs came off in pretty good numbers by about noon.
Julie and Stacey both did well today on the East River nymphing early and throwing dry flies later in the morning. The hatches kicked in late and were spotty, but they both caught fish on dry flies during the PMD and Green Drake hatch. Thanks for a fun day ladies!
Had a really fun day with Brian and Marcella today fishing big dry flies on a small creek. It was their first day out this season and they both did great. Now they’re ready for summer!
The small creeks are really fishing well now with some very good dry fly action. This is a great time to get out there with short rods and big dry flies.

More fun on the Taylor River with Matt, Walt, and Roger. I really enjoyed it guys!

The small streams are in really good shape now and fishing well. Jay and I had a fun day up in the mountains yesterday. Next week should be prime time for bug action and dry fly fishing.
