The Wiggle Set

Julie does better each time out on the river now, and it’s a joy for me to watch her progress. She had a really great day today and it was lots of fun. She is the master of the wiggle set!

A Great Day!

Dick had an excellent day on the river today, fishing nymphs early and throwing a hopper-dropper rig later on. He landed a lot of really nice fish, including a big rainbow just over 20 inches and another chunky rainbow nearly 19 inches long. It was an awesome day! Thanks Dick!

Wild Trout

Bamboo Boys

It was nice to share a day on the river today with two very accomplished anglers who both like to throw dry flies with bamboo. The fish were stubborn and it made for a tough day. But we eventually got some cloud cover and some bug action, and the guys…

Fishing with the ladies

Their husbands are going to have to step it up if they want to keep up with Julie and Nell. The ladies did well today fishing dry flies and catching some nice wild brown trout, even though the fishing was a bit slow at times. Nell did an excellent job…

Brook Trout

I caught some fairly large brook trout on the East River today. The upper river was flowing pretty good and was a little stained. It took some streamer action to move fish.
