Taylor River C&R

Julie landed this nice brown trout today at the ERA Club on the East River. The fishing was slow, but both Julie and her daughter Sophie hung in there and got several fish during the last couple of hours when the clouds rolled in.
Chuck and his buddy George got some nice fish up at the Taylor River C&R stretch today. It was tough going most of the day, but the guys hung in there and caught some nice browns like this one Chuck landed.
Had a really nice morning with Brian and Marcella on the East River today, at our ERA Club. They both did great with dry-dropper rigs during most of the half-day trip, and they each landed lots of brown trout, like this nice brown Marcella got here.
Julie and Joanie had a great day on the Gunnison River today! They both caught a lot of nice fish, including some chunky rainbows like this one Julie has below. They landed rainbows, browns, and cutbows. It was really a lot of fun fishing with the ladies today!
Had a fun day with Glenn today on the East River at the ERA Club. The fish made us work, especially in the afternoon, but Glenn got some nice fish including this pretty cutbow here.
Rich had an outstanding couple of days dry fly fishing on the Gunnison River. This was one of many quality rainbows, cutbows, and browns that he landed.
Will had a great time fishing his nice custom bamboo rods and throwing big dry flies at hungry trout here for a few days. I took his daughters, Zara and Wynn, out fishing as well. See Wynn’s photo below. It was a fun week with the family!
Wynn had some fun today on the East River at our lease on the East River Anglers Club. At 9 years-old, she was roll casting, mending line, and hitting fish like a seasoned angler. It was a great day!
I recently taught six new fly fishers over two days at Crystal Creek. They learned fast and were hooking fish as soon as we hit the water. Ellen had this fish on within her first few casts. Everyone caught fish and had a good time.
